Work, Work, 2010

This endurance performance involved crawling from my home to
Rodman Hall (where I teach) in slow-motion. The piece was shot
frame-by-frame with a digital slr camera over the course of nearly
six hours. Here, I am questioning how teaching, making art and
having a life of some sort are all possible; in other words,
what is not work?
